National Meseum (Engrish)
6
Spotted this Engrish on my way home, at Narita Airport. I find it amazing that there is no one at the most important airport in Japan that can run a spell check on their computers, don’t you? Anyway, we were thinking of either visiting the National Meseum or Tokyo Disney Land since we had like 20 hours before our flight, but in the end decided to go omiyage shopping.
Anyway, I’ve been working on a few layout changes and learning jQuery, an excellent alternative to my nemesis pure Javascript. One of the changes I just finished is the Related News section below. If you click on the Switch to Currently Read link, you’ll see that other news are dynamically loaded. Expect more of these changes and in the meantime, gomen ne if you spot something weird ^^ lemme know via Twitter if I messed something up :) I’ll see how I can pay you back!

Glad to see they took the 30 seconds to ask 1 native English speaker to proof this short phrase. 1 person wrote it and another approved it (probably) and then 1 person made it and not one figures it out??
I hate grammar nazis for obvious reasons but this is f__king ridiculous!! All they do is grammar in school.
I heard ignorance is bliss…but it’s a little insulting sometimes too.
You should be one of the grammar nazis Chris ;) but in any case, I dedicated this Engrish to you sensei ! If you’re around Narita be sure to scold someone and say “my students would never do that!”
(Testing threaded comments ^^)
What have I become?? One of the types i hate the most!!

Dear lord forgive my sin!!!
Seriously though…it’s a bit shocking. After 8 years over here (off and on), it shouldn’t be…but it still is.
(Continuing the threaded comments test….please stand by)
Whoa — that was a lightning fast reply, thanks! ^^ Comments are looking good, though I think level-4 nesting (like this comment) should not exist. What do you think, Mr. Grammar Nazi? :D (j/k)
I have “Better Gmail2″ via Lifehacker for new mail notification via WAV so i catch it where ever I am :)
Though now retired, “Grammar Nazi” agrees with said statement regarding Lvl4 nesting :)
Meseum? Min-utes?
Hahaha, great! ^_^
