Initially thought they were Ninja Boots, spotted by Ale Pepino, but the author had an even better idea: Ninja Turtles cosplay boots! ^^;;
Speaking of which, I just learned that TMNT turned 25 this year — just a bit older than me. As a kid, I used to enjoy the animation, movies, had lots of figures, and owned all the Konami games which were classics:
As a video-game developer, even now I find myself playing the classic Konami TMNT games, the best platform games! Did you play them? My favorite is TMNT 4: Turtles in Time, though Hyperstone Heist was a good second place.
Times have changed and the new TMNT look like this, am I the only one who thinks they look horrid?

That’s it! I’ve always wanted a pair of those boot and I’ve decided that I’m just going to go out and get a pair.
It’s funny because Japanese construction workers wear jika tabi boots like that. I have no idea why, they look bizarre. Maybe because they have to climb scaffolding on construction sites like ninjas!

Oh man that TMNT game you have a screenshot of was like one of the best games ever. I downloaded a MAME emulator just to play it again lol
Well, I guess if you paint them green, you’d look just like a turtle… :p

Mike: Apparently the author says that they’re comfortable, and reesan is also saying that they’re used by workers. So if they’re comfortable enough, all we have to do is find them some shells and paint ‘em green :D
cool, where can i buy a turtle shell about my size??? because id just might buy those boots, and they would match each other!!! lol
