I'm new here, what's going on?

Instant-ramen.net is Hao's Japan and Asia related news blog, including photos, food, otaku, cute girls, sightseeing, and more! Currently, we're testing our new and unique layout and content will not be available until April 2nd, so don't forget to check back or subscribe to my RSS feed ^^;

I'm a regular reader, what's going on?

The old layout confused me at times, so after an extensive market research, I decided to create this new and unique layout. It reflects the different tastes of Instant Ramen readers. I wasn't aware that so many users preferred Udon or liked figure skating that much.

The most important Japanese invention of the Century?

Yes! Instant Ramen noodles were voted by the Japanese population as the most important invention of the 20th Century! Forget about Gundams, Pokémon, Gameboy, the CD, the walkman, or anything else, the Japanese would be nothing if Instant Ramen did not exist!

New and unique layout?

Yes! No "original" source files were harmed in the process, everything was made from scratch. I'll blog about the layout design process tomorrow (RSS).

How much time did it take to nail it down?

Not much, really, though I had trouble with stuff here and there. Will be blogging about it tomorrow (RSS!) :)
